While searching for healthy, pasture-raised options for our own health concerns, we discovered the Meishan pig. Originating from China, this breed is perilously close to becoming extinct with less than 2,000 left in the world.
The prized meat of emperors for centuries, it stands on it own for flavor and texture. It is our mission to promote, utilize and stabilize the future of the Meishan. From rinds to chops, our Meishans create the most savory pork products you'll find.
