Before we owned our farm, we lived in Lilburn, Ga. In the same neighborhood that my husband lived in as a child. Oh at the wonderful stories!
It also happened to be the same neighborhood that one of my brother and sister in laws lived in too.
Taylor and I were more like sisters than 'in-laws.'
We lived on the same street, drove a similar type of minivan, both our kids were the same age and in the same school.
Looking back it was a magical time.
She and I would talk about our struggles, joys and manage the crazy car pools together.
In all of that, we realized that life can be summed up in 4 areas. That everything we go through applies to at least one of these, often 2 of them.
What is it?
Reasons, Seasons, Lessons and Blessings.
It's that simple.
I've found seasons to be one of the hardest.
There's not necessarily a defining line, life just takes us in different directions.
Like it has with Taylor and I. A different county, schools and this farm life is a different life than the one I loved in Lilburn. But oh am I thankful for that season we shared together!
What's that photo to left? Our Rock Star Party when my youngest was a tiny Taylor Swift fan from back in the day. She and her friends all got fancy hair and makeup from our neighborhood stylist, played music, thanks to my other brother in law, and had a rocking party! Great times!
Tell me about your take on this! I'd love to hear from you. ~laura
